A finish is the fastest way to change how a pack feels — before a word is read. Two new surface effects have joined the Calypax Library: soft-touch and metallisation.
Soft-touch: the quiet premium
Soft-touch coatings give a matte, velvet surface that reads as considered and hides fingerprints through daily handling. It pairs well with minimal colour and a single foil line, where restraint is the point.
Metallisation: the deliberate shine
Metallisation adds a controlled reflectance — a band, a cap or a logo — without committing the whole pack to gloss. Used sparingly, it signals value; used everywhere, it dulls. The Library shows both ends.
Both effects are spec-ready references, so a brand can put a finish in the brief and we can carry it into tooling and decoration without a discovery phase.
